Royal Colombo Golf Club

The Royal Colombo Golf Club in Sri Lanka has been at the forefront of the Sri Lankan golf scene since its inauguration in 1879, receiving the Royal Seal from King George V in 1928.
Measuring 6,560 yards from the championship tees, the course is not long by modern standards. As opening holes go, the 1st at The Royal Colombo Golf Club is challenging. A group of trees protects the right edge of the narrow fairway, and the closer you stay to these trees, the better the angle you'll have to the green. However, if you aim too far left, you'll need a swinging draw over the pond to reach the green
